COVID-19 Restrictions and Responsibilities

The following restrictions and responsibilities shall apply to the students and the managements.

Anyone with symptoms of COVID-19 including fever, chills, cough, shortness of breath, sore throat and painful swallowing, must isolate at home for a minimum of 10 days
Anyone under the direction of the Provincial Health Officer to self-isolate must follow those instructions.
Anyone who has arrived from outside of Canada, or who is a contact of a confirmed COVID-19 case, to self-isolate for 14 days and monitor for symptoms.

Note: Students must have face-masks and gloves with them. Without face mask no road test/driving lesson will be give and there will be no refund for that lesson or road test.

School Policies

Student must be dressed appropriately, and MUST always bring their Learner’s License.
Fees:
a. One lesson $100 (60 minutes) +GST ( 50 minutes practice time + 5 minutes of lesson planning at beginning of each lesson + 5 minutes of lesson summary)
b. One lesson $150 (90 minutes) +GST (at least 80 minutes practice time 5 minutes of lesson planning at beginning of each lesson + 5 minutes of lesson summary)
c. Road test session is either minimum of 2 hours (one hours warm up before road test or 2:30 hours (85 minutes warm up before exam)
d. Car for Road test ($120) car only for anyone (no Practice time) +GST.
e. Stand by for anyone ($300) car only no Practice time +GST.
No passenger is allowed in the car during the lesson, unless authorized by the instructor.
Standby road tests will be charged the same as the above packages, accompanied with an additional $100.00/hr* after the initial waiting time of 1 hour.
If the student decides to use their own car, there will be a $100* fee to have the road test booked by the school.
For road tests, all students must bring in 2 pieces of valid government issued identification along with his/her driving license (e.g. Passport, birth certificate, PR card etc.).
Any remaining fees owed to the driving school MUST be paid prior to the road test.
He/She must bring sufficient funds to pay for the ICBC road test. It costs approximately $35.00 for the class 7 license and $50.00 for class 5 license. When the student has passed, they should have another $75.00 to pay the licence fee.
There are no refunds for any taken lessons.
Price can be changed anytime without prior notice.
5% GST will be charged extra.

Lesson fee payment:

○ All lesson fees must be paid before the start of each lesson.

○ Payments can be made via interac e-Trasfer or cash.
● No recording of any kind or taking pictures is allowed unless specified by the driving instructor.
● Only the student and driving instructor (total two persons) will be in the training vehicle during the driving lesson unless requested and agreed by both the student and driving instructor.
● All fees are received for the sole purpose of driving lessons, and no fees can be received to provide tax-related services.

Road Test instructor training vehicle rental package:

The vehicle will be made available to the applicant only upon successful completion of the training program.

Cancellation and rescheduling

If you want to cancel or reschedule your lesson we need 48 hours prior notice through email, if you cancel the lesson less than 48 hours’ notice you will be charged $60 plus GST, if you cancel or reschedule your lesson less than 24 hours full lesson amount will be charged.

Refund Policy (Package Lesson)

Student who canceled at any time after the first lesson will be charged the individual lesson price for each lesson they have participated (in this case no package rate applies) We need 48 hours prior notice to the schedule lesson. Less than 48 hours’ notice cost candidate to one lesson additionally. Processing fees $60 will be charge additionally and remining balance will be refunded. On road driving school will not tolerate abusive language, aggressive or threating behavior toward our team member. In addition, anyone under the influence of drugs or alcohol will be refuse service. On Road driving school reserve, the right to cancel the student lesson with no refund. Please help us to teach you all technical and important driving skill and help us to provide positive experience.

Late and no show

If the instructor arrive student location and the student does not show at schedule time, the lesson is forfeited and there will be no reschedule or refund of the lesson. If you are 15 minutes late than balance of your lesson duration will be schedule and charged for the full lesson. Our instructor will wait maximum 15 minute then leave the location. Van skill driving school instructor have right to cancel your lesson and their will be no refund and no reschedule the lesson.
